Spears and Japanese halberds

Dodanuki-saku-no-O-yari (Large Spear by Dodanuki) (the center of the upper right photograph) is one of the museum’s treasures. Its long, large head is so lustrous that it appears translucent, while its pole bears excellent mother-of-pearl work.
